Hello! I am Reiner Höftmann and my artistname is Caro van Ruit. I lived all my lifetime in the city of Weimar in the german state of Thuringia.
My expierence in this time were two states, four currency union a change from socialism to pre-capitalism to the post pandemic and current economy-capitalism.

Two streams have always moved me: technology and art. Two inclinations go in different directions - and meet - sooner or later in life - on separate roads and on different tracks - as in a parallelogram * where the two ascending branches in the upper level reunite: The Diamond - The CARO:
Whether as a diamond, as a rhombus, diamond or in Dutch - Ruit - all terms describe a square with parallel sides
in my childhood I began to develop a interest to makes photography.
